In this universe where science and magic are intertwined, there is a looming evil that seeks to remove this balance. The Blight is an arcane force, an affliction that drains quintessence, the magical lifeforce of the universe. During this booming time of space exploration and extraterrestrial diplomacy by the human race, this menace has drastically slowed such progress and endangered many lives. As if the stars heard the cries of the galaxy, four heroes blessed with godly abilities fueled by astral quintessence could save them all...
Or at least...that's what was supposed to happen when it was first prophesized many years ago. The prophesied heroes died a mysterious death, and the Blight boasted success for years since. Generation after generation of “chosen ones” have tested their might against the blight, and generation after generation they have failed. Despite every prophecy, every quintessential hero, every assurance that they’d win…they’ve lost.
The 7th generation of heroes shows promise, but with one week before a fateful encounter with the Blight, tensions are rising. Will Bastian, Xezva, Carth, and Nyeleti finally defeat the cosmic blight and break this brutal cycle?

I'm having issues loading up the game? I put in my name and then custom pronouns but then it immediately just takes me back to the credits and then the title screen :(
I'm so sorry you're experiencing this issue! We'll take a look at the code and get out an update ASAP! For now, I believe the pre-set pronouns aren't broken 😔

my first thought was that the art was gorgeous. the characters and the plot are wonderfully made.

the ending broke me though, holy shit. i loved all the characters and them ending up just like any other generation had me on an emotional rollercoaster.
nonetheless, it was a great game. very underrated, too.

So no matter what you do, you can't save the team? It's just really sad. I love good endings, I am ready to go through a hundred quests and find any secret just to help. I don't want things to be bad. I need an alternate ending sob sob
Or maybe a sequel? Haven't you thought about a it?

This game was so much fun! I loved every second of it, I was super invested the whole time. The characters were amazing, and the art and writing were just so spectacular <3 I had a blast playing it on stream and I'm absolutely looking forward to any future stuff from you guys!

this game was SO 👏🏻 FUN 👏🏻 and interesting to play! I literally cried on one of the paths bc of how AMAZING the story line was and just cus Carth is a hot man who needs love and to be understood 😌

I really enjoyed this game! The characters are all fascinating, and they all have so much personality. The game itself is pretty short, but I was invested in the story and characters the whole way through. Plus the art is absolutely beautiful.

I just had a problem with opening the game... When I opened the zip file on Windows, I wasn't able to find where to click to open the game? Am I doing something wrong?
Hey, sorry about the downloading issue!! It was an error on our end. Delete the old files and redownload them now :D. Let us know if anything doesn't work. Annnd for ease of access, I also recommend using the itch.io app. It's much easier to install updates that way.
